Our family had a great week at Home Away from Home. It accommodated my husband and myself, adult children, and two small grandchildren. We had room to spread out and took advantage of the large kitchen for meals. We loved being on the lake, the hot tub, and the fire pit.
We’ve created this house for all-out family relaxation and bonding. Home Away From Home is located in the pastoral South Farm District, on the beautiful Barn Hill Park with a perfect view of the Windhaven Horse Farm. In the evening, you can sit on the porch under the bistro lights and watch the horses enjoy their training. Just step off the porch to enjoy the expansive lawn, or fire pit with plentiful seating. This rare feature is perfect for families with dogs or small kids.

We spent each day in the lake right out front the house, playing tennis, or playing golf. The house had plenty of space and the living room and kitchen were both huge! It is kept in immaculate condition and does the best job we've seen so far in terms of maintaining that "newly built" "barely lived in" feeling about it. Some rental homes come with the collective clutter left behind by years' worth of renters but not Home Away From Home.
So, you need to know them before you rent any rental home. Our party of 7 adults and 7 kids had a great time. The house is lakefront, with easy access to and from the dock and provides a great play area for all of the kids right next to the water. The location at the end of a cul de sac allowed the kids to ride their bikes safely.
